I was recently approached by Dr. Mercola Premium Supplements to test out their Complete Probiotics. I was happy to oblige, since I’m a big believer in the power of probiotics. They sent me 2 bottles of the probiotics to try out, along with a couple of their other products as shown.

Not familiar with probiotics? That’s too bad. Let me offer a brief explanation of what they are.

Our digestive system contains good and bad bacteria. When our system is overwhelmed with bad bacteria, it can lead to various gastrointestinal upsets. The idea is to provide as much good bacteria so the digestive system can function at optimum capacity. Good bacteria can come from quality foods, including yogurt, that contain active cultures, which are known as probiotics. In order to increase the amount of good bacteria in your system, you can now get these probiotics in a pill form.

I learned about probiotics years ago, and they have helped me to address my issues with IBS and to lose weight.

Dr. Mercola’s Complete Probiotics offer a high quality form, which includes 70 Billion CFU (when it comes to this number, the higher the better) and 10 strains of beneficial bacteria (including the all-important acidophilus). The acid and bile resistant formula increases the likelihood that the bacteria will survive and flourish in your digestive system.

These capsules are easy to take, with little-to-no scent and a reasonable size to swallow. Complete Probiotics come in a durable glass bottle. If you’re looking to improve your digestive health, you may want to tap into the power of probiotics.

Thanks to Dr. Mercola for providing me with the opportunity to test out these great products.
